Wir sitzen ja sonst auch in unterschiedlichen Städten, um den Podcast aufzunehmen, aber diesmal sind wir nicht mal im selben Land.

Und wir hoffen natürlich auch, dass ihr, liebe Zuhörerinnen und Zuhörer,
einen tollen Urlaub und eine tolle Sommerzeit habt und die Sonne ein bisschen genießen könnt.
Ja, um den Urlaub ging es auch in unserer letzten Folge und zwar im Monthly Mystery.
Da ging es um Amy und ihr Beach House, vielleicht erinnert ihr euch und wenn nicht, dann ist das auch okay,
denn wir fassen die Folge gleich nochmal für euch zusammen.
Dann wollen wir uns die drei Verdächtigen noch einmal genauer anschauen und natürlich das Monthly Mystery auflösen, damit ihr schauen könnt,
ob ihr richtig geraten habt.
Seid ihr bereit zum Mitraten?
Wir hören uns jetzt einige Abschnitte aus dem Monthly Mystery nochmal an und fassen sie im Anschluss zusammen, damit keine wichtigen Infos verloren gehen.
Finally, Amy turns her car off and smiles.
In front of her is a small beach house with white walls and green windows.
The flowers in the front yard are blooming despite the dry weather.
Amy gets out of her car, takes her suitcase and walks to the front door.
She can smell the salty sea air and hear the waves crashing nearby
Buying this beach house with her friends Laura, Sandy and James three years ago was a wonderful idea.
Okay, that was part one.
So, what do we know?
We know that Amy arrives at a beach house and that she bought this beach house
Three years ago with her friends Laura, Sandy and James.
We also know that this beach house is close to the sea.
Im nächsten Teil spricht Amy über ihre Freunde und ich gebe hier einen kleinen Tipp.
Es ist wichtig, auf den Job zu achten.
Welchen Job haben die Freunde und gehen die gerne raus oder eher nicht so?
James oder writerjames007 on social media is a writer she met at university.
He doesn't like people or going outside and wanted a quiet place for writing new books.
Laura and Amy are childhood friends.
Amy was Laura's bridesmaid two years ago.
Every summer, Laura and her husband Larry spend a week or two at the beach house to relax.
Sandy, or Sandy the Surfer Girl, was Amy's coworker, but quit her job a year ago and is now an online health coach.
She loves surfing and was very happy when Amy talked to her about the beach house idea.
What do we know?
We know that James is a writer and he does not like going outside.
We do not know Laura's job.
We don't know if she likes going outside.
We know that Sandy is an online health coach and that she likes going outside to the beach.
Mein Tipp für den nächsten Abschnitt ist, dass dort der wichtigste Hinweis in dem ganzen Monthly Mystery versteckt ist.
But now, after driving for five hours, Amy is tired.
She quickly opens the front door and steps inside,
over a big puddle of water and sand in the hallway to put her suitcase next to the wardrobe and turn on the lights.
It is evening and slowly getting dark.
The bedroom looks tidy, the bathroom is clean, all windows are closed.
Everything is okay.
Now all Amy wants is a glass of water and a nap on the big, comfortable couch.
She goes to the kitchen and opens the blue cupboard where they keep the glasses.
And then Amy stares.
She closes the cupboard, waits for 10 seconds and opens it again, but still no glasses.
The cupboard is empty.
How can that be possible?
When Amy visited the house two months ago, she had at least 15 glasses for water or juice and 10 wine glasses too.
Maybe one of her friends was at the house and put the glasses somewhere else?
We know that Amy visited the house two months ago and that she had 25 glasses and now all of them are gone.
We also know that nobody broke in because the windows are closed and the door was locked.
We also know that there is a puddle and sand right in front of the door in the hallway.
Als nächstes schreibt Amy eine Nachricht in den Gruppenchat mit ihren Freunden und versucht herauszufinden, wo die Gläser abgeblieben sind.
Und wir hören uns jetzt nochmal die Antworten von James, Laura und Sandy an.
Hey Amy, I'm doing well, but I hate summer so much.
It's too hot.
I'm staying at home all day.
How about you?
I have no idea where the glasses are.
I'm sorry.
I don't use them because I only like coffee and tea.
I hope that you find them soon.
A minute later, the reply from Sandy the Surfer Girl arrives.
Hey everyone, I just arrived at the surfing championship.
It's wonderful.
I didn't know where the glasses are, sorry.
I didn't have time off from work in the last six months.
Two hours later, Laura loves Larry, replies to Amy's message.
Hello, dear friends.
Sorry for my late reply.
I'm trying to get Lucy to fall asleep.
A long process, let me tell you.
I don't know where the glasses are.
Our last visit to the beach house was last year.
Ihr habt vermutlich schon eine Idee, wer es gewesen sein könnte.
Ich fasse aber trotzdem nochmal einige Dinge zusammen.
Also, Laura ist frischgebackene Mama und war deswegen in diesem Jahr noch gar nicht am Beachhaus.
Sie fällt also schon mal raus.
James ist zwar Autor und kann von überall aus arbeiten, aber James trinkt gar nicht aus Gläsern, nach eigener Aussage, und die Wahrscheinlichkeit,
dass er das Haus verlassen hat, ist sehr, sehr gering.
Da bleibt also nur noch Sandy übrig.
Sandy hat geschrieben, dass sie zu einem Surfing-Wettkampf ist und dort gerade erst angekommen ist.
Und sie hat gesagt, sie hatte in der Zeit vorher die ganze Zeit Arbeit, sie hatte no time off,
also sie musste die ganze Zeit arbeiten.
Wir wissen aber, dass Sandy Online-Health-Coach ist, also auch online arbeiten kann.
Das heißt, es schließt trotzdem nicht aus, dass sie sich im Beach House aufgehalten haben könnte.
Und jetzt kommt der wichtige Hinweis.
Vom Anfang zum Tragen, im Flur befindet sich eine Pfütze und Sand.
Das bedeutet, die letzte Person, die dort war, kann noch nicht allzu lange wieder abgereist sein und hat vermutlich Sand und Wasser mit ins
Haus gebracht, war also auf jeden Fall am Strand unterwegs und wer wäre da naheliegender als eine Person, die gerne surft.
Amy is angry.
Sandy must be lying.
She writes a message to her.
Hey Sandy, why are you lying to me?
I know that you took the glasses.
A moment later Sandy answers.
Dear Amy, you got me there.
I lied and I'm very sorry.
I didn't want you to be angry with me.
Last week I trained for the surfing championship and stayed at the beach house.
We had a beach party and I took all of the glasses to the beach.
But then the table got knocked over and all the glasses broke.
I promise to replace them with the money I won at the championship.
Musik Und damit sind wir am Ende der heutigen Folge angekommen.
